Kyal Erdman

I am practicing designer at a multidisciplinary design firm and have an avid belief in design, space and technology as a tool to influence the human body in a matter of scale / emotion / philosophy / poetics / aesthetics.

Previously I have sat on critique panels for both Monash and RMIT universities as well as co- ran two studios for Monash universities Interior Architecture program, one about the evolving grapple between Virtual Reality & self and the other a contextually driven response to the disconnect of a sense of home for refugees in Australia. Both studies required, an intense self & subject research process, iterative process driven work & mixed media responses.

I have been part of and lead multiple design teams to deliver small, medium and large scale commercial projects along with multidisciplinary projects & design experiments with collaborators in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Engineering & performance.
