Giselle Laming

RESEARCH + PRACTICE

A graduate of the program, Giselle’s background in Visual Merchandising and Retail design initially sparked her interest in the way materiality can influence approaches to the design of space.

Her ongoing practice is focused on a bricolage approach whereby materials, spaces, moments and objects are collected and transformed through various manipulation techniques such as melting, blending and casting.

Her keen interest toward colour and texture relationships, along with spatial history, result in installations, styling, residential and retail design.
