RESEARCH + PRACTICE
Djurdjica Kesic holds a Master of Fine Art from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Interior Design at RMIT University and has taught there for several years. A strong drive to create tangible objects has seen her develop a passion for jewellery, and in 2007 she completed an Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology and Metalsmithing (Jewellery), Box Hill Institute. The same year saw her selected and exhibited as part of the Filippo Raphael Fresh Award at Craft Victoria where she was a finalist. She is represented by Pieces of Eight Gallery in Melbourne.
Djurdjica’s work moves across jewellery/object making and spatial design practices. She explores ideas of home, place and migration, working across a range of scales and materials.
