Angela Brophy is a curator, project manager, writer and editor based in Melbourne. She has 20 years experience in curatorial roles working with institutions including: Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA), Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP), Ian Potter Museum of Art, and the Melbourne Festival Visual Arts Program. She has experience in independent publishing as Manager and Editor of unMagazine and Editor of the publication What Art Which Public. She was director of Monash Faculty Gallery and Platform Art Spaces and recently initiated the Platform Hero Billboard, commissioning artists to produce artworks for the Hero Building in Melbourne’s CBD. Angela also teaches in Design History at Swinburne University.
